Summer Rock Band Experience

$99Purchase required to enroll
In partnership with Pedals Music
For students in 6th through 12th grade

Our program is led by two outstanding local musicians who are also experienced educators. Students will learn classic songs in a supportive environment as they work toward performing at Phoenix Park as part of the Family Day Downtown.

Playing in a band rapidly improves your musicality and is a fun way to build relationships with other musicians.

Our band leaders

Eric Thompson is the owner of Pedals Music in downtown Eau Claire where he also teaches music lessons. Eric has been a part of of the local music scene for over 25 years and has played with such groups as the Jim Pullman Band, Snifter, the Eau Claire Blues All-Stars, and the Chippewa Valley Jazz Orchestra. He led our first-ever rock band program this summer.

Paul Brandt is also a long-time local musician with roots in the Chippewa Valley. He plays the Jim Pullman Band and can often be heard sitting in with a variety of local groups.
